This article, written in 2006, about the CHA conference and an apparent ammendment to NCAA Championship law 31.3.4.4 (which upholds the automatic bid for the NCAA tourney) which would allow for the CHA conference to keep its 5 team structure without loosing it's automatic bid. However, this has all changed since Wayne State University has decided to end it's Men's Ice Hockey program.
I just thought it would be nice to try and piece the puzzle together as we hope and pray for a resolution. I feel it is important to see where things have gotten to this point.
