In more recent news....Niagara player jumps to the NHL
Posted by Dave Weldon at 2/18/2008 02:44:00 AMAccording to College Hockey News.com, Niagara Junior forward Les Reaney has decided to leave school and join the Edmonton Oilers organization. He will be going to the AHL affiliate, the Springfield Falcons.
This season Les has put up a 15 point season (5 goals and 10 assists) playing on the No. 20 ranked team in the nation. The Purple Eagles are currently sitting in 3rd place in the CHA conference, behind Robert Morris and Bemidji State.
