Try after try after try, the Lady Colonials of RMU have not been able to beat their in conference rival Wayne State, until now! On Friday nite, RMU took down the #10 team in the nation 2-1, on the road. This is the first win for the program over a nationally ranked team, the Colonials are also tallying up the wins this season, putting together a great 07-08 campaign.
Brianne McLauglin, as always, put up a steller performance with 26 saves on 27 shots and coming up with 13 of those saves on 3 Penalty Kills in the third period.
UPDATE: The Lady Colonials split the weekend series, dropping the second game on Saturday at Wayne State, 2-1.
