Since I've been fortunate enough to have so many comments here on the blog on different posts, we got a little update about Rob Cowan from a fan in the latest post about the Utah Grizzles and Ryan Cruthers:

"I have an update for the IHL, where Rob Cowan is playing for Port Huron, they will play game 7 of the league championship series on Monday @ 7:30. There are a few cool pics of Rob in the photo gallery located under the fanzone tab on the IHL website. Here is the website address: http://www.ihl-hockey.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 I do believe you can watch it on the B2 network, details are on the IHL website. Good luck Rob!

Also good luck to Ryan out in Utah!!"

I have been pretty busy with my internship with the Pittsburgh Penguins, so keeping up with everything is a challenge sometimes, so thanks a TON for putting up the info everyone!

You do the work, you get the credit, thanks whomever posted the info! (you published it under anonymous)

    Dave,

You are welcome. I have been a fan of the Men's Colonial Hockey team since the first puck drop. You must be very busy with your internship, sounds like it could be fun. Another update for the Port Huron IceHawks, they lost their bid for the Turner Cup last night in triple OT to Fort Wayne. So Ryan is the only remaining RMU Alumni still in the playoffs. The Utah Grizzlies were defeated by Las Vegas Wranglers last night 5-2. Ryan did play, he didn't have any points but had 3 shots on goal. Here's to hoping Utah can advance to the Kelly Cup finals! Good luck to Ryan!

Another update on the Utah Grizzlies. They are down 2-0 to the LV Wranglers. They lost 4-3 in OT. The next game will be Thursday in Utah. Ryan was again pointless but did have 2 shots on goal and no PIMs. Good luck Ryan!

Uh-oh, the Utah Grizzlies are, gulp, down 3-0 in the series after losing to LV Wranglers last night 3-2 in OT. Ryan was a minus 1 and had 4 Shots on goal, but no points. LV could sweep Utah tonight, when they play game 4 in UT. Here's to hoping the Grizzlies live to fight another day, good luck Ryan!
