Adding to the list of transfer student/athletes, Robert Morris will have a third player coming from Wayne State next fall, Freshman forward Chris Kushneriuk. He will be joining Freshman defenseman Brock Meadows and Junior defenseman Matt Krug, who added themselves to the RMU transfer list back in January of this year. Kushneriuk officially transfered to the Colonials on March 4th.
Kushneriuk played in 35 games this season, registering 2 goals for the season. Meadows appeared in 28 games scoring 3 goals and 6 assists. Krug has played in 107 games in his career at Wayne State, this year he appeared in 35 registering 13 points (5 goals and 8 assists).
All three of these players will be eligible to play immediately next season.
Last season Robert Morris had three transfers from Niagara, Doug Connely, Aaron Clarke and Bryan Mills. Clarke is currently playing for the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL, where he has 22 points in 46 games.
