The Lady Colonials faced off against the Wayne State Warriors this past afternoon at 3pm in Niagara in the first round of CHA Tournament.

Looking at the Box Score
If you didn't get a chance to be at the game and you get a chance to look at the box score, the Lady Colonials matched up well once again with Wayne State. They were out shot only 22-15, the largest period being the 1st period (7-3). They obviously picked up their game in the 2nd period as they came out heavy on defense, limiting Wayne State's shots to 9 and pumping their shots up to 7 on goal.

Penalties were not a problem for the Colonials this game, as they were only in the box for a total of 4:00. On the flip side, the Colonials had 6 chances on 12:00 minutes, but were unable to convert on any of their power play chances.

The Lady Colonials finished their season 12-22-1 on the season and going 2-10-0 in CHA Conference play.

Game Notes

Check back in the coming weeks to see the season wrap up on both the Men's and Women's teams, as I will give the 3 Stars of the year for MVP, Most Improved Player and Player to Watch for the Upcoming Season.
