For the last three games, team captain Kristen Miles has been a healthy scratch. On November 3rd, when RMU played Sacred Heart at home, Coach Handrahan told our production crew that it was a "coach's decision" as to why Miles was scratched, as well as alluding to her not practicing hard enough during the week.
Prior to Kristen sitting out these last three games, between the dates of December 30th and February 15th (her last 10 games), Miles has 6 points (5 goals and 1 assist) and has averaged 2.9 shots a game.
Kristen's last game, the win at #10 Wayne State on February 15th, she had no shots on goal, she only won 6 of her 18 face-offs, but she did not commit a penalty.
Hopefully we can hear back soon from Coach Handrahan on Kristen's status, whether it is an injury or a coaches decision.
